knocking/popping sound from dash

Hi Faulk. Where you able to fix your problem. My 2003 Expedition makes the same noise when you set the temperature to the coldest or the hottest. Wanted to know if its the blower that needs to be replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Faulk. I have the EXACT same problem on my Expedition. It's done this since I've had it. I assumed the ******** who hacked the stereo job in my truck prior to me getting it dicked something up. Looks like it's a more widespread problem. Doesn't look like you've posted back to this in awhile...hopefully this will revive the post or someone else will post a solution.
