I bought my '08 XLT in May of this year. Haven't had any appreciable rain until the past week or so when we got some heavy monsoon storms in the Phoenix area. I noticed a small puddle of water on the driver's side floor mat after a couple of storms. I have read that these things are notorious for this. When I bought the truck it had a cracked windshield so the dealer had it replaced before I took it home. I don't like the looks of the windshield gasket, I don't think the glass guy did a very good job. I'm wondering if getting that seal replaced might stop the rain from getting in? Any thoughts??

Being the dealer that you bought the expy from had the windshield replaced I would at least talk to him and find out if there was any warranty from the person that installed the new windshield

Hey Scott,
Check my post about "excessively hot floorboards" somewhere on this same first page of forum. I just bought an 12 Expedition only to find out it becomes a bathtub when running the AC. Mine is on the passenger side, and I think I've gotten to the cause of it, although won't know for sure until a trip to Ford to get parts and a garage fix project tomorrow. Ha...funny...I'm in Chandler too! Maybe Expy's don't like it here?

Thanks for the tip....but I hadn't been using my vehicle. It had been sitting for a couple of days and it rained one morning. I went to drive it later that day and found the puddle of water on the driver's side mat. This has happened a couple of times, as you know it doesn't rain very much here.
