I've always been a superbriteleds.com guy.

I looked on their site but couldn't find any switchback LED bulbs. That is my main purchase. I want to make sure I get some that are very bright

I love ebay just as much as the next guy and purchased some of the cheaper items like my interior LED's off of ebay. I purchased some reverse lights off ebay and was less than happy with the output. The look nice but I think I get more light off of my brake lights than I do the actual reverse lights.

I took my chances and ordered from these guys. I'll let you know how they turn out and try to take some pics (something I'm lacking anyway)

Thanks for the input!

You're going to have a hard time finding something that's bright enough to illuminate the area for reverse lights. I'd just stick with the LEDs you have now, and throw some reverse fogs in the back for times when you need actual light.

I have these in my reverse lights. They're bright to look at, but don't transfer too much light to the ground (partially the fault of the housing). I think mine are 300+ lumen.

Installing LED back up lights is somewhat self defeating. While LEDs offer great direct line brightness, their ability to cast light over a distance and area downright SUCKS!!!!!!! If you are wanting something to light up the world, then the best thing you can do is to get yourself a cheap set of fog lights, mount them on the back of the truck, tap off of the power wire for the 7 pin plug and then use a relay to actuate some 35W HID bulbs that are mounted inside the rear fog lights. That will be about the best you can do other than switching up to 50W HID bulbs.
