I replaced my OEM incandescents with the below LED lights bought off eBay, cost $14 and quick delivery. Installation was a breeze. These have side diodes as well as strong diodes in the projector lenses.

These have impressive light for backing up. Often, my rearview camera is occluded with dust/dirt, so these are great for using the old fashion method of using your mirrors:anitoof:.

I didn't but you may want to secure these in with some electrical tape just to be sure they don't rattle out in the future. As always with LEDs, check polarity before finishing up installation.
