I decided to make my own 3rd brake light instead of buying one, I very pleased on how it turned out !
The lights I used are water proof boat lights I got at Walmart, they fit the housing perfect, the original light assembly popped right out and these two lights popped right in without any cutting or breaking of the housing, I used DIY Auto Tune water proof plug assemblies to make the connections.

Are those the original lights in the last pic?

Same bulbs as map lights? 168/194?????? Or just look similar?

JDM Astar LEDs that work for interior and license plate lights and backups also work here

You need 5 of em though, so buy a second 10-pack if you're doing the lot of em folks

On a side note, the pathetic excuse for waterproofing insulation here really sucks
