liftgate window hinges

Well, last night I go out the the Expy and open the glass part of the liftgate.........and the hinges snapped off, so I got no glass on the back end right now. Just got off the phone with Ford and them crackerjack crooks want $119 a piece. Ebay ain't got nothing and every time I call the local boneyards, they never have anything for my truck.

Now, I really do not need to have a functional window on the liftgate, so would there be a way I could permanently affix the glass? Cause right now I got clear plastic duct taped to the opening.

Any ideas or suggestions would be great

Maybe some JB Weld or some other glue like that for now, until you can find something?

or just do a search for expedition window shocks. They are $40 a pair and from my understanding are really easy to install. I would just say that maybe you could get someone to help hold the window while you screw the pieces in. Good luck.
