Hi all!

This morning, when I went out to my '07 XLT (110,000 mi.) to go to work, it wouldn't start (but all the lights and radio came on), and I got the familiar clicking sound. Obviously, I thought I had a battery problem so I used my wife's car to jump start it. It started up, but as soon as I started rolling, I had no power. I checked the gauges, and everything looked fine, but the information display showed the wrench symbol and a door ajar light (no doors were ajar). There was also an airbag light on!

At this point, I hadn't had any coffee yet and there was too much information to process, so I decided to address that before I figured out what was up with my truck. As I pulled out of the garage, I couldn't get any throttle, and was going about 10 mph. I tried to shut it all down, wait a minute and restart. I couldn't get it started again!! In fact, at that point, the electrical was completely out - including radio and light.

I drove about a hundred miles yesterday, without a hint of any trouble, but I "could have" left my interior lights on. It seems unlikely that the "limp" light would come on for a battery issue, but could the jump have pulsed the computer and caused all these problems? What issues might cause a "limp" when everything was a-ok just yesterday?

Thanks, in advance, for any comments...

Start with the starting and charging system then move on to the other problems. Have the battery tested with the toaster type of charger and charging voltage with the engine running. Should be close to 14v or less.
