Well guys,… got the call about an hour ago. The dealership is ready for me to pick up my girl tomorrow.

I’m kinda nervous… we haven’t seen each other in nine weeks… is it going to be awkward the first time again???…

I posted earlier about taking my 2015 Limited 4x4 in for a moan and bucking. I made a separate post, but the transmission failed while the technician was driving it (Ha - they were able to duplicate!).
When the problem began, the first appointment was 8 days away, at 8:00 am. The transmission failed immediately when the technician drove it.
Today is the end of the third week - and the vehicle is still not fixed. The dealer said they had to tear-down the transmission, take pictures, and send them to Ford for approval of a repair (initially told me they were putting in a new transmission).
My Ford Premium Care Warranty includes payment for a rental vehicle, so I’m driving one from the dealer (a 2018 Ford Fusion 4-door).
I’m betting it will be a month or more before the transmission is replaced or fixed. I probably won’t beat your out-of-service record though......
