what I need before I buy another reflector housing is the beam pattern. I want to see it compared to stock. I'm going to do that tomorrow night, too much snow here tonight.

as far as HID goes I've been well informed on the do/don't aspect of it all. I plan to get a projector kit and install them in the housings I got.

I have to remove the lens then the projector mounts in the original headlight hole. I will likely paint the reflective surface black, and use an amber halo.

Interested in the pics of beam with the $45 lenses.. Does it seem to be worse than the stock setup? I really want better light output on this truck but wasn't really looking to do a projector setup.

the beam is much brighter and reaches farther. a good improvement over stock with one complaint. the beams are almost identical. except for the fact that the left/right side cut off is shorter so it doesn't light up as much.

I will attempt to get some pics in a bit.

Anyone have projector headlights? Are they any good? And how do they look at night? Any pics or videos of them at night driving or against a wall?

I got a set of these for 80.00 theyre APC brand from carid.com
Changed out the Halo bulbs for Xenon, wired in a toggle for the fog lights because mine didn't originally have fog lamps, the bulbs were 70.00 a set at Autozone, and I like em much better than the HID's

I ended up going with a set of the $50ish clear lenses from Amazon (link earlier in this thread). They initially worked like crap, but after getting them leveled and aimed correctly they're working quite a bit better than the stock setup was.
