Looking for an 8 passenger with no luck

I'm new here but the wife wants a new Expedition. But we cannot seem to find a limited max with the stealth package and a 2nd row bench. There are a few, but they are thousands of miles away.
However there are tons with the captain's chairs in the 2nd row.
Does anyone know if the bench can be purchased or added easily?

That seem like a Question for a dealership. I'm guessing by you asking on here you want to deal with them as little as possible (which I understand) but by going around to the different dealerships and asking this question (talk with sales manager or above) you can find a good dealership by the way they answer your question. could end up with a win win situation.

You can order one or you can go get the one you want someplace in the USA. If it was exactly how i wanted it and the price was doable, id fly to get it.

I know I can go get the only one in the US, but my question is more about someone having a line on getting the seat I want and installing it afterward.

I dont think anyone has attempted this with the 4th gen due to complicated nature of the seats. The sec row chairs are designed a bit different than the chairs in the bench, the seats are on tracks that would need to be installed, its not a bolt on design like the previous gens.

The only place anyone could get the seat would be the dealer, are they not willing to work with you or something? To many dealers out there for that.

Some people on here (including myself) are looking to buy a new truck. if you have run into some kind of pitfall with the dealer I for one would like to hear about it.

It would be cheaper to do it the way @sanman28 said. Hell you could probably throw in paying someone else to drive back and still be cheaper than letting some aftermarket joe work on your truck and doesn't mess with the warranty on anything.

Of course I wouldn't let anyone drive my new truck that far.

Go to your dealer of choice and have them do a dealer trade.

My suggesti9n is to special order and get it exactly the way you want it. My order took only 6 weeks.

Check into the dealers that are 1000 miles away. I purchase mine from a dealership 1100 miles away and ended up with heck of a deal. Vehicle had been on their lot for over 10 months. I was also looking for a Limited and ended up buying a Platinum for less than any deal I was able to make on a Limited. Negotiate the deal you want ... you might be surprised at how hungry these dealers are.

I had to do more homework, such as checking out YouTube videos for see how features worked and to learn more about trims. The dealer also did 2 Facetime video calls with me showing the VIN number, mileage and condition of the vehicle. They also included shipping in the deal. One of the best buying experiences I had and it was virtual. Go Figure.

took me 9 months to find a platinum with a tow package and a 2nd row bench. Frustrating as heck, worked with dealerships all over the US. Finally found one about 2 hours away from me.

i ran into the same issue when locating my current vehicle. My dealer determined it was much too complicated to add in the second row center, you would not have the power fold switches for it, seat belt minder would not work, etc. not even sure if the floor mounts were there. We had no issue locating an 8 seater one within a few hundred miles, but that was also about a year ago. Another option would be the navigator, those were easy to find then.
