I have a 2003 EB that has had the stereo/CD player replaced at least once and has a missing overhead DVD player. Both broke, I took them out to replace them and somehow they got lost. The stereo was replaced but I know its the wrong part #. It works, but more than on ford dealership parts dept has said I need the right part for it to work properly with the DVD player and Subwoofer. I know I can probably get another one working with a little tinkering of the wires but right now I need to get other things fixed first.
While doing some research, I was able to find the part number for the stereo that was supposed to be installed but cannot find the right DVD player #. Since I was told by multiple dealers that different stereo part #'s will only work fully with specific DVD part #'s, I am looking for a matching DVD # for a stereo with the # - 2l1f-18C815CE. Does anyone know of a site, service center, etc., That may have some kind of knowledge into what Stereos match with what DVD players? Or maybe someone on here has that same Stereo / DVD and could take a quick look. When finding the Stereo # at the dealer parts depts, They all told me the DVD player was unavailable now and said they did not have the part # anymore...
