So the option of going with one of these LCD Projector lights and replacing the bulb with HID would be the best option. I think I can handle hooking up the Hid bulbs. I would like to have the plug and play lights that bolt right in and then change the bulbs. But it seems that these projector lights are cheap that I find on line or ebay. Has anyone found good quality projector lights that are bolt right in ?

As I said those projectors or retrofit custom is your ONLY choice. Buying those headlights is not the best option but it is the cheapest option to have projectors on Expedition.

Everything I have read on these... specific to the Expeditions... has said that light output with halogen bulbs is actually worse than stock, and adding HIDs to them makes it about the same as stock.

I guess stay with stock lights

Ya I might try this option sorry for all the questions But I live in an area that does not sell anything like this so am taking a big chance ordering something with out looking at it lol. And I do want to be happy with the end result. Its funny I cant seem to find a store in Canada that deals with these or different brands. I would be willing to spend a few more $ if I new I was getting a quality product.

I can assure you the superior product would be a result of getting your headlights done by Brian. If it's quality you want, don't buy a set of the headlights you keep going back to. Like I said, no matter the brand or source, they all come out of the same factory in China.

Ever heard the motto "Cheap, Easy, Reliable... pick 2"? It applies here.

Ya that seems to work. And you got the LED projectors and added HIDS to them ? Was it a fairly easy job to do ? I have been watching a few Vids on how to install HIDS and some seem pretty easy and some look a little more involved ? That is how I would like mine to look.

It was fairly easy some wiring had to be done. Any reputable audio/video car instalation store can do it for you if you dont know how to do it. Also added HID to my fog lamps.

I actually got those headlights on ebay.com for $90 last year. Have my oem set sitting in garage now together with chrome grill i replaced. Not sure I will do any more "add ons" on my truck because it is 2011 and I almost have 100K miles already on it.

For anyone following this thread, I just wanted to show what the difference in quality projector reflector bowls vs what you typically get in the mass produced aftermarket projector headlight assemblies since I was browsing around today.

A factory Infinity reflector bowl on the left and a reflector bowl from a headlight purchased on eBay on the right.
