Loose rear-view mirror

I have a 2010 Limited and my review mirror is loose. The adhesion to the windshield is fine as it rattles at the mirror & connector base plate. All I can see is what appear to be a couple of spring clips which don't seem like they want to move very easily, and I don't want to create any additional problems. Can someone let me know how to tighten it back up? Thanks in advance.

my 04 has a hex screw (i believe) that i had to tighten

FREEWAY, No hex screw. Went to the dealer the other day. They say you have to replace the whole thing. Something about the way they are made nowdays. Just the mirror alone was 172.00 That don't include putting in on. Anyway we need to shoot the breeze sometime?

There should be a round head like a rivet head. Take a spring loaded center punch and go around the outside of round head. That should tighten it back up.
