Just bought a gently used 2020 Expedition XLT. First time I washed it I noticed that the passenger side rear taillight housing was loose. Took off the trim piece to check the two 10mm nuts and both were tight. Removed the two nuts and housing. Felt no resistance when pulling the housing back towards the rear of the vehicle which makes me think that pins are not locking into the grommets. Anyone else has this issue? What did you do to fix it?

Sadly I think mine is doing that, and it was replaced under warranty as a faulty unit, which tells me the jokers didn't put the new one in right. The other one that wasn't replaced is just fine. Or maybe they use single use receiving grommets and you have to replace the whole rear quarter panel when doing new housings, lol. wouldn't surprise me. Sorry I can't be of much help, I'm not going to mess with mine, just have them look at it the next time its in the shop. Being that yours is a 2020, should be under warrant still no?
