Loss of power in second gear

I have just started noticing that when my expedition shifts out of 1st gear it loses power. It's like it settles into the gear, rpms drop and it will barely accelerate. It is much more pronunced when going up a steep hill. All other gears shift smoothly and have no issues. 05 EB 4x4 130,000 miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just had the same issue, mine would even shake once it shifted into 2nd. One of the plastic check balls in the trany had broken and clogged the valve body. Hope this helps.
