Loud knocking noise

Ok so the other night my truck started to make a very loud knocking noise. Let the truck warm up. Still the sound remained.. after about 20 mins I try to leave work. There was a popping noise then truck started to die out. I'm so lost as to why my truck not working. Since there have not been any problem leading up to it.

Welcome to the site. It may be better to link a video of the knocking sound since it can be from multiple sources. Make sure the oil level is correct first.
