just got a flowmaster 40 series put on and swapped from a single to a dual exhauset and it sound good but i think i want it a tad bit louder should i remove the resonators?

That would definitely make it louder but you'll probably getting a raspy sound at WOT and when you back out of it. What size pipe are you running?

bigger and longer tips. that will do it for you. unless you go straight pipe. then that will make it SUPER loud.

I agree, use 3" dual rolled tips, in the 16-18" length range..

then bigger tips and remove the rear cats. should do just fine then.

How many cats do things things have?

4 of them.

4. 2 small ones and 2 large ones. the larger ones on in the rear. remove those and itll increase your noise.

Older thread but what chamber muffler do you have? Go to a single chamber 40,s series. That will make some serious noise
