Love the 1st Gen looks but want that Ecoboost

I wish there was a way to swap that ecoboost into the 1st gen Expedition. I really prefer the looks of the 1 generation Expeditions over the rest but that ecoboost engine just flat spanks my little 4.6 V8 in torque and HP.

If there was an adapter to bolt it to the current transmission and obviously needing the wiring and computer not to mention the electronic steering system or find a donor vehicle and find a way to fab it into a 1st gen body maybe?

Pretty sure it just flat is not doable without a brilliant mechanic and engineer not to mention a huge bank account.

I am betting it can be done if you could find a F150 ecoboost donor vehicle.

Sure there would be many obstacles and possible custom fabrication to overcome.

I too like the 1st gen looks over the newer models, you do have to consider though, the '97 is ~17 years old and much of what it sits on is considered ancient now... too bad it's not that easy to update things but keep the same body
