No codes yet. Recently had entire passenger side head rebuilt and new VCT solenoid on passenger side replaced. 520-530rpm in gear. 570-620rpm in park and pretty rough.

Probably a real issue since you had stuff wrenched on under the hood, but be aware that the tachometer is mechanical and non-calibrating.

It *may* give you a perpetually-off reading (mine reads about -300 from reality). Check with a bluetooth OBD reader for real RPMs.

I've been watching via obd2. Looks all the same until yesterday, of course when it was not on obd2, and was wanting to die somewhere around 300rpm in gear at a light. Still no codes. Maybe it's one of those cars that like to give heart attacks lol
