It is in the intake tube, between the filter and the bend. Just remove the filter housing like you are changing the air filter, and look down the tube heading to the throttle body. Its right there up front. They sell MAF cleaner at any auto parts store. It is a good idea to disconnect the battery so that the engine can relearn the freshly cleaned sensor. Hope this helps.

How to clean....

Just disconnect your air inlet tube ahead of the sensor, and spray some MAF cleaner through the screen at the little elements in the center of the sensor. Let it sit for 5 minutes or so...,give it another shot, let it sit for another 5 minutes, then start your engine. Some people just use electronics cleaner, but I use actual MAF cleaner from the auto parts store. You can also take the sensor right out and clean it that way too, but it's easiest to just spray it where it is. You can hold a rag or something behind it. Here's a pic of what you are looking for. Mine looks a little different on my engine, but it's pretty much the same idea.

Sounds like someone like me. I was the guy that was ripping the whole suspension off of his brand new Expy to add in a lift when I had not really done much more than ball joints or shocks. Nothing like learning by trial and fire.

With the MAF, just take it easy on the sensor. It is not recommended to spray straight down the hole of the sensor as there are thin wires down there and you can possibly damage things that way. But, let the fluid bounce around a little bit and all will be good.
