Hi, my name is Norb. I’m new to the forum. I’ve owned my 2009 expedition since 2012. I love the truck but it looks like I have a problem with the frame right behind the rear wheel. I see a lot of repair panels for F1 50s but no one seems to make one or I can’t find one for an expedition. Has anyone experienced this?

Late response here but yeah rust on the rockers and frame is an issue. Best bet is to cut out the rusted sections and weeks in fresh steel.

Also, stay on top of undercoating. Lanolin-based stuff sprayed everywhere, especially inside the frame rails and cross members, annually is key if you live where salt gets spread in the winter.

I'll be tackling this job in the coming months. Will take and post photos along the way when the time comes.
