The BFGs look like a great deal. I paid 900 for my 265s last summer, and the BFGs wear pretty good so they should hold you over until you get you've got some money saved up to get some muds or whatever your looking at. I found a deal like that when I bought mine, but didn't have the time or money for a lift. . .

I'd go with the BFG's. Unless you are gonna do a lot of four wheeling, the other ones are a waste and will probably not last as long. All Terrain TA's are a great tire. I had them on my ranger and i loved them.

My alignment only cost me $70 last summer after I replaced my ball joints.

you dont want to know how much it is down here. i think its about $90. but i dont remember. and besides why bother getting one? haha i will. but like i said. if i can get the time ill go get the tires. these guys always advertise on craigslist and i think we got the trailer tires from them. they're good guys.

You can try them out and see how it drives, as long as you don't wear the tires then I guess your ok. I'd call around, in San Diego, I'm sure you could find someone for a decent price on an alignment.

most places that do cheaper alignments are hole in the wall places that are crap. but also the places that are good are also pricey, but have good warranty. went to this one place and for 30 days i could come back and get it realigned for free no questions asked. figures after that ends she pulls to the right again. haha

That's a pretty good deal, warranty on something like that is worth it since you're not paying much more than a cheap shop to do the job.

You just have to bring the topic up casually along with all of the good reasons to get him to want you to get whatever your trying to buy, it makes the process easier lol

i know, but i dont really need tires, thats why im like should i? idk if they will give me a cheaper price since i still have threads on my tires. see if i can knock them down to $250 if not $300. now that would be a deal!

Never hurts to tell them you can only pay so much and go from there. If you don't get them, there will be another pair soon enough.

thats what i mean. i rather get some tires used and cheaper, then new and pricey. hell my $200 bfgs have been threw a lot. one tire has slashes in it, another has a plug and another has pieces missing, o and the other has the side wall all gone. haha so all the tires have been threw hell. and yet i still air them down and off road in them. just a little bald. almost got stuck in soft sand in them. im like for real? at least i have 4wd. cause that would have sucked. i never got stuck in these in 2wd before, but these are a little bald now.

BFG ATs are great tires. I have 10 plys, but I have put 12k on them so far and lots of rocks and snow and a little climbing on muddy hills. I've never had a problem with them until I lose clearance, but clearance will get you no matter how good of tires you have. I would really like to try them out in a good mud hole.

the ats suck in mud, but i think they are better then the mt km2s. those things turn to slicks in the mud. never saw a jeep get stuck worce then when they had the km2s on. and saw another jeep with the ats pull him out. sure he lost traction, but still got him. also the mud they were in was desert mud. so it was very fine sand and water, not a good combo of mud. haha but with these 35s if i get them, then if i get stuck, i got really stuck. haha

I've gotten stuck a few times that if I had a lift and bigger tires, I wouldn't have anyone to come get me out. A few chevy's on the other hand, I've driven past them to pull them the rest of the way though . . .
