Mirror Control Not Working

2000 Exp EB. 5.4 a4wd.
Mirror control no longer works on passenger side; sporadic on driver side.
I have zero mechanical or electrical skills.
Any ideas what my cause this? Simple or complex?

Ireiner, I would try replacing the mirror control switches and see how that affects the mirrors. To me, it sounds like the windows have been cracked open a little too often and the switches have gotten water inside of them and that is causing them to fail.
