Hi all. I’ve got a battery drain problem. Battery drained in 2 days in driveway. Read many of the posts here, so I hooked meter up and got 360 ma drain. Nothing turned on. Pulled all fuses and relays under hood. Pulled fuse 103, no drain at all. Went inside truck and pulled everything, one at a time in fuse block. Pulled fuse 15 and drain went down to 60 ma. Charged battery up with fuse out and left out for 24 hours in 0 degree weather (Minnesota). Checked voltage and it did not drop anything. Put charger on battery and it would just trickle charge. What is downhill from fuse 15 that could cause this? Thanks in advance for help. I am working in driveway so only work 30 minutes at a time before coming in to warm up,(I am an old fart).

Need to know the year and engine, Ford changes wiring as the wind blows...

If you are going to claim the "old fart" status, please update your avatar with your age. If you are truly over the hill you can join up with roxy and myself, then they can refer to the three of us as the "over the hill gang".

It is behind the fuse box up under the dash. Trouble usually shows up after a rain storm due to a leaky windshield which floods the fuse box and GEM. From what I remember reading it is just replace with the same part number if you buy used. New units may require programming by the dealer, not 100% sure.

I might have the same issue because my battery died the other day and had to purchase a new one with my craning amps, lucky I was not of middle of no where when this happened.
This is my solution "Quick Disconnect Terminal" because it's simple a cost effective and works as anti theft device too, with out effecting the memory of the head unit and alarm etc.
