I have a 1998 Eddie Bauer 4x4 5.4L with rear springs (proper suspension :D). Here is the problem. And first off no, its not the wheel balance, ive had them all rebalanced 4 times and just recently broke down and bought four new tires (to no avail, i was pissed). It's not even noticable until i get above sixty. Once i hit sixty, it gets progressively worse as I go faster. I have checked the rear wheel bearings by taking off the disks and trying to move the axle shafts. there is a tiny amount of play but not what i would consider dramatic (maybe 3mm up and down motion). I have not had time to check the fronts, but what I need is a check list, I am a college student and have little time, so when i go to fix this once and for all, i need to attack every variable possible. Could it be bent rims, cv axles out of balance(does feel like it's coming from the front), bad front diff bearings, i mean anything that could cause a vibration, even an unbalanced prop shaft. at this point i will check anything cause i love this truck but i cannot live with that vibration, i know it's doing damage every time i drive it but if i cant find the vibration i will have to sell it. I know i will lose money selling it, but i will lose more money once whatever is vibrating finally breaks.
thanks

Check your drive shafts for dents (out of balance), U Joints, and the bolts holding them on to make sure their not loose...

to add to what the other guys said, you should check your wheels really close for a slight flat spot , either upward or inward, if you bought it used it may have been curbed good or run into a ditch, also, if there is any play at all in the idler arm on a Expy, it needs replaced.
