my 2003 expy transfer case motor is not getting power to it, also stuck in 2wd, and switch does nothing, dash light for 4x4 not lighting up, is there a relay or what,all fuses good 11, 20 , 115, 30

Did you verify it’s not getting power? Often times gunk gets in the contacts inside that cover and they don’t work or the motors seize up won’t shift it. If it’s not that I’d bet the switch is worn.

Transfer case fluid level could be too low, or transfer case motor, solenoids bad. Leak is sometimes from a wear spot that develops in the front of the transfer case, leak is not repairable, in my experience.

open the driver side front door, and remove the plastic trim. Inside, you’ll find a wire loom with a purple wire. Often times this purple wire corrodes from the INSIDE out and disables our four wheel drive. My purple wire looked fine at the connected joint, but once I remove the factory heat shrink and got to the actual wire, it was oxidized dust. I ran a length of new wire and soldered it back in and put new heat shrink tubing around it and bam, 4x4 works like a dream.

hopefully this is your problem, especially if you know how to solder correctly. Nothing like a couple bucks worth of wire, solder and tubing to “restore” our 4 wheel drive.
