First of all, it;s a 98 Expy 5.4. Got it fro my nephew about a year ago for $500.00 cuz the front passenger seat caught fire (no injuries). Cause of fire was the 1st cat passenger side. Replaced cat with straight pipe. Went to the local yankem place right down the street from me and got a new seat. Replaced the vacuum hoses from the PCV valve and installed hose clamps on each vac line connection (except PIA in the rear of the engine). Slowly replacing all plugs, have #3, 7 & 8 to go. Had to repair exhaust flange from manifold to cat on passenger side, had lousy O2 readings from Torque Pro. While trying to get # 3 plug out found #2 and #3 injector plugs were reversed. MAJOR difference! Of course now the flange on the drivers side loosened, so went to replace the bolts. Tried to get Dremel too up there to cut them off, no go. Took a deep socket and spun them off. Unfortunately couldn't get the new bolts in. They welded the tops of the bolts!! Right now have two c-clamps holding the flange together. Since the O2 sensors are after the flange, with the flanges loose, O2 readings were none existent! And that's MY story!
