I'm installing a maestro unit and using the corresponding f01 wire harness. It appears that the f01 has a reverse line that ties into the stereo harness. Does that mean I don't have to worry about splicing into the reverse line behind the glovebox?View attachment 65460 View attachment 65461

It seems that the Maestro Box (Module) is reading the CANBUS messages to detect when the vehicle is the reverse gear; then generates a signal that is sent to the Head Unit thru the Purple/white wire. (You circled it in red above)

Short Answer is No. If you follow the Maestro installation instructions you DON'T need to locate and splice directly into a reverse signal wire.
