So exhaust is back on.

New air filter.
Gas cap as old was missing.

Was finally able to drive it home. Lacked power especially on hills. Could maintain 55 but had to give alot of gas. No east leaks. No pvc leaks. Still has miss to it and rus rough. Just as bad but not really drivable. Code now is bank 1 lean

Bank one lean is telling you theirs a problem with that cylinder. You might want to pull that spark plug, coil, and boot. Replace any bad parts for that cylinder, coil, plug etc. you can swap a coil and boot from adjacent cylinder to # 1 and see if code switches to that cylinder. Theirs also a way to test coil with volt/ohm meter if you like to test it first.

Just noticed you've got a 98, those have a spark plug wire coming off coil, right? You stated you changed coils? Did they come with new wires? I'd swap around a coil from another cylinder with #1. Did you ever do a compression test on engine? Are their any vacuum leaks or did you fix those.

No it has cop's. All are new. U plugged each coil on pass side. No change on number 4. Same when I did injectors.

So I have a misfire on number 4. But cop and plug are new. Scanner shows all injectors firing with no faults

I've seen other members have problems with a new coil/ plug. Try reusing one of your old take off coils that you know is good. Do a noid power test on that injector. Make sure it's got power/ ground. You can use a stethoscope or long screwdriver listen to that injector, hear if it's firing. All Exaust/ intake leaks taken care of? Again not to beat a dead horse, but you might want to take compression test of at least #4 cylinder. Not easy on #4. A cylinder balance test with your snap on scanner should tell if any one is down.

I ordered a timing kit. And intake gasket set. Ik these have bad problems with intake leaks. And I don't know when or if timing has ever been done so I'd rather do it now

You probably have a lot of play in the timing chains, not a bad idea to change. A lot of work. Be sure you check cam timing before you pull off chains, make sure you didn't slip a tooth on one of the cams. As far as the intake gaskets, you can spray old ones for leaks. If your going to swap out intake gaskets, you'll want to replace plastic intake, they give way. Good luck , you really like digging into this one. Plastic cam tensioners will have to be replaced as well with over 200 k.

Congrats on new baby. If it's a boy you can teach about cars! If a girl maybe she'll like wrenching too!

True. Second baby girl. My other is 2. Traded a 97 k1500 for the expedition so I wouldn't have to fight to get 2 car seats in

Girls like cars sometimes. Well they love driving them at least. With all the great gloves for auto work, they can keep their hands clean at least. Hell I use them these days. Congrats again, Moose!
