Trying to see what you guys might think. We did the full PI head and intake swap on my 1998 Expy and when we tried to fire it up it turns over but nothing happens. Checked the spark and there doesn't seem to be any now at the plugs. I checked the coil packs with a multimeter and getting 12 Volts at the wire harness for the coil packs but it doesn't seem that my wires are getting spark. Everything worked fine with spark and fuel before the tear-down and rebuild so not sure what to check next. Not finding anything unplugged or unhooked. We did an EGR delete but that should not effect the spark. Any ideas would be great appreciated. Thanks.

I know it sounds stupid, unlikely and wrong, but just do a quick check of your fuses, recheck all wiring and connections in the general area, check all your throttle body connections, and air intake plugs etc. eliminate all the easy answers first. you may find that there was no problem after all.

I would go to the parts store and buy a small 12v bulb and plug the two wires into the plug connector. Then have someone crank the truck and see if the light flashes if it does then the brain is turning the coil on and off. If it doesn't then the problem is either a loose connection or bad brain. You are creating a basic noid light in sense. or just buy a noid light set. They are great for coil/injector harness testing.
