Moving from my 5.0 F-150 FX4 32 Valve dual cam to the 5.4L Expedition with 24 valves and single cam it feels like I am driving a v6 honda accord

It's a beautiful truck but I need a bit more kick. Any suggestions?

Actually its 4 cams vs 2 but yes if your speaking per head you are correct.

V6 honda accord has about 1/2 the weight of an expy so not sure what you expect?!

The reality is acceleration is all about power to weight ratio.

For a bit more kick you need to increase your hp or lose weight. Gear ratio swap would also help but you would sacrifice hwy fuel economy and rpm.

They do offer blower kits for the 3v expys.

My daily driver is an Accord V6 Coupe. May be a poor comparison, seeing as they are pretty damn quick! 7500+ RPMs of VTEC fun!
