Got new shoes for the blue whale today. Loved the 1st gen AT3s. Have the new AT3 4S to replace the worn Goodyears.0123a77e6702e9c5ea09dc70ed0bd6c8.jpg

I just ordered a set of their AT3 XLT in 295-70-18.
How do you like them?
So far so good. They are definitely stiffer than the stock GYs but that's to be expected. No road noise. Haven't had any weather yet but if they're as good or better than the AT3s were, I'm happy.

I've had Cooper AT3's for a few years now. I liked them so much they followed me from my 2004 Expedition to the 2016 EL.
Great tire, wears good. Great on the road/rain/mud/sand and snow. I pull with it, so I opted for the 8 ply.
I am happy too. :)

I've got a set of these in my f150 and they have done well except in mud, they suck in mud. On highway is as good as any other premium tire but they are considerably cheaper.

Can you post a pic of the whole side of the rig?
Would like to get better idea of what they look like on the rig.

Thanks

Also is that factory size or did you go bigger?

I just put a set of these on mine less than a week ago in 275/60r20 (about 33x11) stock Limited wheels, no lift. So far they've been great; hit a nasty snow squall on the highway the night after I had them put on and they are lightyears ahead of the Continentals that came with it when I bought it ... I'd had great luck with the older version of the AT3 on my wife's old Grand Cherokee and so far these are already outshining those as far as road noise (as in there is none) and in the wet/slop we've been getting in Western PA. I'll try to take/post a picture or two, too, and of course all this with a little grain of salt since I've only put about 350 miles on them so far...

295/70r18.... so ~34.25" ?

Is that with a lift or stock height?
No lift yet. But I need to add the ready lift so there won’t be any contact with the fender when the shocks compress on a bump. I did get new wheels with a 12mm offset so the tires are shifted out away from the vehicle and stick outside of the fender.

Is that driveable ATM or a work in progress? Fronts look like they'll take out the lower bumper cover on the first sharp turn... or are those pics with an unmounted wheel sitting next to the truck?

They are mounted. The angle of the photo makes it look closer than it is in reality. Here is another photo.

Bringing this back from the dead... I just replaced the factory Hankook Dynapro ATMs with the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S at 41,000 miles. They would've gotten to 50,000+ for sure, but I was starting to notice traction loss on wet roads. With winter coming, I played it safe. Just about 1,000 on them and no complaints, but I will say there is a noticeable whine at 60+ MPH. The radio knob usually fixes this. They look great after I cleaned them up and slapped on some Adam's Graphene tire dressing... just the right amount of sheen after 1 coat.
