New expedition owner! Very excited!

This is my 3rd Expedition. It is just awesome. I do have a question about what mode to put it in when driving in the mountains? Do I have to do anything special?

Driving on the highway or a paved road thru the mountains - do nothing.

If literally driving off the pavement, over the dirt and rocks & between trees, you can select the mud/ruts or grass/gravel/snow. Ford has a short video explaining the system:

What does this button do? It is located right next to the lift gate button on the dashboard, left of the steering wheel. I pressed it, but nothing happened. Can’t find anything about it in the manual.

Is it folding the rear seats?

I tried that but it didn’t fold the seats

I believe that puts the rear headrests down if they are up for vision.
