New expedition owner

I just purchased a 00 and unfortunately did not come with an owners manual.

I have a couple of questions.

On the keypad when i put in the code it only unlocks the driver door. Is there a way to make it unlock all the doors?

Also my cruise control does not work (checked all fuses) and neither does the horn when the truck is running. Horn works when truck is off?

Also on the keypad i thought you could push 2 buttons to get it to lock?

Immediately after you hit the code, hit the 3/4 button. This will unlock the rest of the doors.

The owners manual says you can press the 7/8 control and the 9/0 control at the same time to lock the doors. I tried it and i works.

Yep. That is the standard for locking them.

Does anyone know how/were do get the factory code for the door? I bought mine used and the door code is not in the owners manual or anything.

Alientx, go to the dealership, tell them that you bought the truck used and it didn't have the factory set door code and you need it. They should look it up using the VIN of the truck. Do not be surprised if they ask you to bring in your registration to prove that you own the truck.

This works for me.. after your 4 digit opens one lock, press the #3 button, it should unlock all doors..

The dealer wanted to charge me 100 to get it 4 me,but that is the easiest money they would ever make. Look under the drivers side upclose to the windshield left side of the steering column and there should be a small grey box about the size of a box of matches there will be the code that is for your truck about 1/4" numbers as I recall, it will contain 5 #.Hope that helps.

if u stick your head under where the pedals are and look up to the left the security unit is hidden there and on a sticker in plain view is the code. Does your cruise control flash on then off right away because if it does all you need is a new sensor that goes right on the brake fluid reservoir that costs like $15 but worth every penny. when it wears out it thinks ur always braking and disengages cruise. I have the same color truck!!!
