New extended warranty?

Hey guys,

I wanted to see if anyone else here had ever heard of this company or done what i did last night.

I get a phone call from a California number and i normally let it go to voice mail but i decided to pick it up this time. It was a company that said it was the last time they would be calling about my warranty. so i was curious and started talking to them.

They let me know that ford has a last chance auto warranty they offer to customers. It was a 3/36,000 power train and engine warranty. I put 300 bucks down and will pay the rest off in monthly payments.

They seem legit and this is their website. http://www.dealerservices.info/default.asp

It's a 100 dollar deductible when you go in, but he said it's all covered under ford. I thought hey why not and if it's a bogus company than i'll report the transaction to my bank as fraud and it will credited off lol

Anyone else heard of this company or received a phone call late into owning their truck?

Sounds shady, but at least you can get the credit back by claiming fraud. Funny thing--I'm currently in Italy (I have been since Jan.) and I've been using a rented cellphone/SIM card. Anyway, I've received a couple phone calls exactly like this--except they were recordings with information about the extended warranty and company--and in Italian, of course, lol. Sounded sketch to me at the time, but let us know how it turns out! GL!

I GET THOSE PHONE CALLS ALL THE TIME EVEN ON VEHICLES I DONT OWN ANYMORE. THEY SOUND LIKE A GOOD DEAL BUT I NEVER ACTED ON ONE.

I was actually thinking about getting a warranty from a company called Warranty Direct. It sounds like a similar company to what the dealer services stuff is. http://www.warrantydirect.com/

Ok well, i'll let you know how it all turns out once i get my packet in the mail (if i get one at all lol)

I am taking my ***** right to ford and have them look over the engine and tranny for any issues and see how this warranty works lol Lets hope for the best and i can have a working truck for the next 3 years!
