Hey whats up? My fiance and I are new to the Expedition family and glad to be! We recently purchased a used 2000 Ford Expediton with 109000 miles! We absolutely love it! We traded an Elantra for it because we needed something bigger for my son and we want to add another kiddo to the family! We also have a 96 Dodge Ram 1500. The Dodge is nothing like the Expedition though. The Expe is an Eddie Bauer edition, black with tan interior. We have installed a K&N intake and a Gibson exhaust just to start. I think our next purchase will be some rims. We want style that will add to it so we are thinkin to do some chrome 22s. The only problem we are having with it is a ticking sound coming from the front passenger tire. Sounds like a rock in the tread but no rock is found! Could it be the CV joint? Im not sure. I am mechanically inclinded and have worked on many cars but this is my first Ford! I have another question if anybody knows..... I wanna take out the stock stereo and install an Alpine "digital media receiver". The stock system is by Mach with a sub in the back right interior panel. If I change out the stereo will I lose the sub? Not bad if I do I also have an Alpine type R 12 that I could use instead. I am just wondering so I know if I have to run wire or not!!!! Any recopmmendations of anything would be helpful! Also once again glad to be part of the Expe family!
