The few replacement parts needed on a low mileage example outweighs the plethora of parts that a high mileage example will need. I've tried it both ways, starting with a high mileage example usually just ends up with a car that has a ton of new parts that's still a clunka junka! Nothing like a low mileage original. The longer you drive, you'll see this is true. That's why individuals with low mileage any year asks big bucks, they know what they have. Watch an episode of Barrett Jackson collector car auctions, and see what the low mileage examples fetch, vs high mileage or rebuilt.
