Hey guys I’m a new member here and love the site!
I bought a 2008 expedition EL Eddie Bauer with 5.4L.
I have an issue that’s got me really confused.
My steering wheel lights, center shifter lights, puddle lights and the emergency hazard-info-reset lights and the back light for my headlight switch do not work. And the fuse is good. Any suggestions?

Kyle welcome to the forum.

The steering wheel switches are easily replaced, but some have disassembled them and replaced the lights inside which takes some soldering. The light in the center console is a bulb under the shifter. Depending on the mirror type the puddle lamp is replaceable as well, but I suspect they might be inter connected and you need to get a hold of the wiring diagram for your your 2008 Expedition and start tracking it down. It is probably a broken or disconnected wire.

That seems like too many lights to be out for it not to be a wiring issue somewhere.

It sounds like a wiring issue since I find it hard to believe that many LED bulbs could be bad at once. On my May 1, 2017 post in the thread linked below I linked to a site to get wiring diagrams. It might be worth tracking down where from the fuse box to the lights there is a problem.

Another question i have is if you tried swapping the fuse anyway.... bad fuses can fool you into thinking they are good depending how you tested it. If not i agree with the others your probably looking at wiring. Most likely something is disconnected.

Did you purchase it from the Huston area? It may be a flood vehicle, with that many electrical gremlins.

He is in Indiana and we have a law that requires dealers to disclose if the vehicle is a flood vehicle. If I remember correctly it will be listed on the title.

All these replies offering the OP advice AND he hasn't been back since he made his post asking for " Any suggestions?"
Very typical of many new members

The thing is Many are saying that with that many LEDS that its most likely a wiring problem. Unknown to many that offer that suggestion The circuits he is having problems
with are all controlled by FET's in the Fuse box. Plus there are more than one fuse that controls his problems Unless he comes back on and gives better information such as What fuse/s he checked How did he check them all the suggestions offered aren't doing the OP any good.

I'm not saying that the advice given is bad But the OP needs to give better details so he can get better advice.
