Bought my 1999 Eddie Bauer 5.4 about 6 months ago for $625 from a salvage auction. Bought another one the next day to get the parts (bumper, headlight assembly, running board, etc.) I needed to get it back the road. Kelly claims the condition I have it in now puts in the $3000 private seller range, so I am feeling proud.
Bought it mostly for offroading in the Las Vegas, NV, and I've driven it HARD and it has responded well. LOVE this truck.
Now I'm having issues with the 4 X 4 engaging and the speedometer not working, but I will post that separately.
