New to Forum - 2005 Expy EB

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and wanted to say hello and ask a question.

I have a 2005 Expedition Eddie Bauer 2WD 5.4L 3V with 63,000 miles on it. It runs great except sometimes on start up. On occasion it will crank for a split second before it catches, sputter then the RPM's will jump to 1.5 -2.0K. The throttle body and PCV valve were just replace due to going in to power safe / limp mode. I bought it certified pre-owned with 34K miles on it, so not sure if the fuel filter was ever changed.

Yup my fuel pump went on mine and it was doing the same thing

changed that already...didnt get pump changed like i hoped...so now it'll be thursday...

Thanks for the suggestions. I will have the Ford dealer check it out. It's still covered under the Extended service plan until July thankfully.
