New to me 2018 Limited - Bad transmission already

Had it inspected by a reputable mechanic before purchasing, slipping transmission 1 week after purchase, in the shop for a new transmission now. Worse things have happened to better people, but still a bummer.
Phoenix Az area, trying to get ready for boating season.

116K miles. The interior and much else all seems to be in great shape.

I'm hoping you were able to get a warranty that'll cover it, even though it's a very recent purchase!

Known problem for the 4th Gen Explorers, the transmissions have issues.
