New used mirrors

Well I bought a pair of 2005 Expo mirrors from a great FEF member and got the driver side installed and it looks awesome...and leave it to Ford...my old mirror has 3 wires..red,yellow & blue..the new mirror has 4 wires red, blue, yellow w/a red trace and a yellow w/a green trace...I took a test light and moved the mirror switch and nothing matched...so now I'm scratchin my head...any thoughts....below are a few pictures..oh and these new mirrors have the dome light feature once I go to the dealer and have my Gem module reprogrammed the dome lights will come on when I open the doors.

Baker I'm glad everything worked out. The person to possibly ask about the wiring would be Thermo. I know he is lurking around here somewhere....

I'm stilling planning on doing the swap but want to find a way to run mirror turn signals as marker lights.... kinda like the new superdutys...

Ooooh yeah....sounds good....I basically changed the mirrors cuz I couldnt see shit out of those originals..especially with the window vents..just got to figure out this wiring...

yeah thats why I want bigger mirrors... still want superduty tow mirrors but I don't have the time or skill to fab them into fitting... hopefully one of the china-bay vendors will make them for expys and supercrews... they would sell like hotcakes

I'm pretty decent with wiring, does anyone have a 05 expy repair manual. If so take a pic of the diagram for the mirrors for me and I will see if I can figure it out for you. I have the diagram here for the first gen just need to see the 05. But if what I am thinking is correct its just a dome light intermittent power (assuming they have lights in them like you said), if thats the case they just need a hot from the switched 12v tat activates the dome light.

quick question were the plugs the same, they probably are not pinned the same and we may have to have you switch some pins around to match.
