I also had the same problem with my liftgate window shorting out periodically. It started about 6 weeks after i bought the truck. I delayed going to the dealer because it was totally random and I was afraid they would not be able to reproduce it. Well that issue is solved; now the rear window switch is totally dead, doesn't work. I am still in no rush to take it in as i never open the window anyway.

Believe it or not, i'm still not fixed, mostly due to this ^^^
It re-enables itself around every three weeks, goes haywire for a few days, then kills itself to the point it's not an issue. Right now my switch is also completely dead. Maybe one month my dealership will get back to me about fixing it.
