ok so ive been wanting to join for about a month now and for some reason it wouldnt let me until today. so lets get started. from what ive seen all of you all have beautiful trucks. but when it comes to suspensions and motor im a idiot. so im oretty sure you have anwsered this qustion a million times. i have a 99 eb air ride. i want it gone so bad. but im wanting to do a 6in lift so on that note whould it be wasting my moiney if i went ahead and bought some coils and shock to get rid of my air ride. cause im not gettting my lift till tax time.. if so what would you all recomend and please list everything thank you all very much

yeah air-ride expy's require move fab work to get a lift kit installed its different than the non-air ride expys... but it can be done

what lift kit should i get then. cause i looked them up and theres one for stock coils and then thers on for rear air ride. im a rere when it comes to suspension. my buddy doin the work im just drinking the beer and being the tool slave. or would yall recommend a differnt lift company.

Fabtech will tell you dont do it. i dont have a experience with all time AWD cause they say it can cause driveline vibration in the front but read posts in my thread "finally done" it will kinda explain what you do i dont exactly know if a 98 and a 99 are the exact same cause i know they changed a little bit that year but i can tell you what i had to do.

Fabtechs do work with fulltime AWD... been running it for 2 years and no problems but if you do have driveline vibrations fabtech sells a part for the driveshaft to fix it
