Just picked up a 99 Expo XLT, AWD, lighted running boards, 5.4, rear air, all that great stuff that is sooo easy to break. I am a Jeep guru at heart, but swapped my TJ for this guy. 158K on the clock and seems to run pretty decent in that the tranny shifts smooth, and the motor seems pretty solid minus a nice skip from either a bad plug or a bad coil. I tried pulling codes, but got nothing, so I guess I will hit it with the ohmeter when I get back to the house this weekend. Aside from that, plans include a 6" lift (may build it custom, dunno yet) and at least a set of 35/36" TSL SX's. We shall see. Need to do a little housekeeping first such as replacing the pass side exhaust manifold (it's actually broken!), fix my skip, replace my odometer as it likes to go in and out as all fords do, fix my driver side power window motor...just getting a nice relay click from under the dash on that one, replace my driver side power door lock actuator...doesn't work at all, and find a pass side door lock push/pull knob. Mine just isn't there, and I'm afraid I may have to replace the entire door panel just to get one from what I have seen so far! Aside from that, a new carpet set wouldn't hurt, and a little A/V for the rugrats.
