Hey guys I just bought this truck and it already had an after market jvc radio with a cd changer which I took out to replace with my Pioneer radio with HD radio and integrated blue tooth the old radio worked fine when I disconnected it but now i'm not getting any power at the dash harness(white/pink) 12v constant. I checked all the fuses that I believe to be associated with the radio, the 5 amp in the #8 spot in the dash fuse panel and the 10 and 30 amp fuses under the hood (I got this information online for the under hood fuses).
Anyway they all are perfect and I am stumped. I checked the 12v constant with a back probe first then I clipped it and stripped it and tried with a volt meter and there is no juice there. I have installed full systems before with less issues then this lol. Any info that could help I would greatly appreciate it, Thanks!
Oh also I don't believe there to be any connection here but the drivers door lock has stopped working today as well. It will not unlock or lock with the remote or the panel switch I have to use the key or pull/push the post up or down to luck/unlock.
