Was out driving today and the truck started running rough. After a while it started losing power and you could hear the misfire coming through the exhaust. The cel came on and I got a code po353 ignition coil c primary circuit fault.

Anybody have any experience with this code? Where do I even begin?

Born on Christmas! Bet you got gipped out of a lot of birthday presents! Code po353 is a fault with #3 cylinder, third one from front passenger side front. As Stamp suggested in his post, run through all the tests. Or you can swap in a new spark plug, coil boot, drive vehicle, rerun Dtc test. You can test the coil either with a hei spark tester, or ohm meter test on coil. Replace that coil if it fails. Post your results either way.

Well this sucks. I went to do some testing and now the truck is running fine. I wasn't able to recreate the problem

Never hurts when you go to the doctor. Don't worry it will act up again. Probably at the worst time.
