Drove from Texas to the Outer Banks of North Carolina this summer. The house we stayed in was 4x4 access only. Drove the beach about every day and had a ball. Was powering around Jeeps, Land Rovers and GM products
. There were times that when things got backed up because others got stuck and had to call a tow truck, we just gropped it in low and drove through soft sand like it was nothing.
If you ever get the opportunity to visit the Outer Banks, I promise it will be worth your time.
