occasional vibration

while driving on the highway i get a slight vibration but it comes and goes. alot actually. but i only notice on highway, more so on occasional acceleration. last time it was on a lift i had the shop check the u joints, they said the still look good. and ideas:shrug:

One of your tires could be out of balance or have lost a weight, but that would probably be a constant vibration. I would say check your u joints. If you don't know how, put it in neutral and crawl under, hold onto on end of the shaft, and try to turn the other side to see if there is movement. I replaced both my fronts and the rear joint on the rear shaft, but the front two joints on the rear shaft had no play even though they haven't been changed for awhile.

This one is obviously way worse than your's since you can even see that they are bad, but it's pretty easy to know when you look at them.

i keep leaning towards u joint or bearing u joints look and feel good though
