I was able to get everything tight eventually. Alignment was way off but got an Alignment done at a local shop and she's running like a top now. Next project is a new radio. Trying to figure out what I need to make sure the steering wheel controls still work lol

I have this for my Kenwood head unit, Crux SWRFD-60L Wiring Interface. The steering wheel controls work okay. Sometimes the volume up button will change to the next song or radio station. Best thing I can recommend is to call Crutchfield. They will guide you right and they will be there years from now for troubleshooting assistance. I have called them many years after a purchase and they were more than happy to help me.

I'm sure Crutchfield is not perfect, but for more than 30yrs I have always been very pleased with the service they provide.

I actually ended up going through Crutchfield for everything because of house awesome they are. I've had friends and family over the years that have had nothing but great experiences

Everything was going great until I decided to test out my 4x4. She's really sluggish in 4x4 and it's noticeably louder. I got a check engine light so I switched it back to 2wd and pulled the codes. Got a P1867 in the "Enhanced Codes" section of my reader but it's not an active code. Gonna just stick with 2wd for now. Wondering what I might have done while switching the CV axle that might be causing this

How often do you use 4wd? If not often you may have a driveshaft u-joint that's stuck or rusted. If it was caused during the cv axle swap I would look at the IWE, integrated wheel end.

I don't use it anywhere near as often as I wish I did LOL. In the winter I have it on auto four wheel drive just in case I need it but I don't have many opportunities if any take it off-road. I was looking for a place in my area where I could play around in the mud but haven't had any luck yet. Before I started having issues with the CV axle and control arm I had switched it into four wheel drive a couple different times just to make sure everything is working and didn't have any issues then.

Everyone should also exercise four wheel low a couple times a year to make sure everything works as it should. I have a long gravel driveway so it is easy for me.
